Polo G’s newest track “RAPSTAR” has settled at the top of the global SoundCloud charts with a stream count north of 5 million. The “Finer Things” artist released the ukelele-led hip hop anthem on April 8, and it’s already showing signs of becoming the Chicago artist’s highest charting headline single.

Produced by Einer Bankz and Synco, “RAPSTAR” arrives as the lead-off single in anticipation of Polo’s newly announced album, Hall of Fame. The melodic rapper touches on his feelings about maintaining relationships while being famous on the fresh cut. The official music video premiered on the same day as the single’s release, effecting a momentous splash on the internet for the 22-year-old. Directed by Arrad, the video is already trending at slot #40 on YouTube.

Hall of Fame will be Polo G’s third studio album, coming on the heels of his 2020 project, THE GOAT. “RAPSTAR” is already contending with Lil Nas X’s latest smash hit Montero (Call Me By Your Name), which is on track for its third straight week at No. 1, on the UK charts.
