Return to Concerts On a Budget

Aiden Schwartz

Concerts are back! After over a year since the beginning of lockdown, tours have been announced and artists are back on the road. Bands are ready to take the stage and unleash a year’s worth of pent-up urges to perform live. With artists and bands already touring, more and more continue to announce tours. This over-saturation of tours is both a blessing and a curse. While we are blessed with the euphoric experience of live shows, many of us have to be picky about which shows we see.

If you’re like me, you want to see as many concerts as possible but you also need to consider your budget. The logical solution to this is seeing many cheaper concerts rather than one or two expensive concerts. Luckily, there are many incredible artists on tour right now who are offering tickets for under $50! Below is a breakdown and a guide to some of the many tours that may be coming to your area where you will find tickets available for under $50.

IDK & Ameer Vann

Rapper IDK is fresh off an incredible album release and is ready to play it for his fans! In addition to becoming a music business professor at Harvard University, IDK is soon starting his autumn East Coast tour.

Former Brockhampton member, Ameer Vann, is the opening act and cherry on top of this already highly anticipated tour. Ameer’s solo career has been creating serious buzz and is only projected to skyrocket with the release of his forthcoming album. However, the best part about this tour may be the extremely affordable price! Tickets start at $25 on

The Garden

Twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears make up the art-punk outfit, The Garden. Seeing them live would be nothing short of a thrilling experience. With hardcore songs, one would only anticipate the audience will reciprocate that same energy. Needless to say, there will be mosh pits, leather jackets, screeching guitars, and screaming. If this is up your alley, I highly advise you to consider seeing them live.

Yves Tumor

Fresh off the release of their new EP, “The Asymptotical World,” Yves Tumor is ready to rock the stage. Yves Tumor embodies what it means to be a rockstar in the 2020s with such unorthodox authenticity. Their music blends genres to create something that dismantles contemporary alternative rock. Many artsy folk and punk heads will likely be attending Tumor’s 2021 fall tour. With tickets starting at $25, the question is, will you be attending?

Florida Georgia Line

One of the biggest names in popular country music today is Florida Georgia Line. This band will be traveling beyond the panhandle of Florida and touring across the entire country. From New Orleans to Des Moines, this tour stretches up and down the US and will likely be headed to your area. With a ton of tour dates at different locations, Florida Georgia Line wanted to ensure they’d have a lot of folks in attendance. There is no better way of assuring ticket sales than making the tickets affordable. You can see Florida Georgia Line in certain cities for prices as low as $17!

Lil Baby & Lil Durk

The desire to jump into a mosh pit is one that many have longed for over the pandemic. One of the greatest places to quench this desire is by seeing two of the most notable rising stars in the rap game. Lil Baby & Lil Durk are soon beginning their tour together with prices in certain cities as low as $22.

Lynyrd Skynyrd & Kansas

Classic rock bands, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Kansas will be hitting the road together this fall. Lynyrd Skynyrd is known to take their rowdy southern energy with them no matter where they tour. Considering the fact that I have never witnessed anyone not sing along to “Carry on Wayward Son” by Kansas, I could only imagine the intensity of seeing that live. This can’t miss farewell tour has available lawn seating at certain venues for prices as low as $24.
